HEI 2022 COVID Protocols & Masking

Currently, in Lucas County, Ohio, community level of spread is Medium. Help take action to protect yourself and others from COVID-19 based on the COVID-19 Community Level. If you are at high risk of getting sick, wear a high-quality mask or respirator (e.g., N95) when indoors in public. If you have household or social contact with someone at high risk for getting very sick, consider self-testing to detect infection before contact, and consider wearing a high-quality mask when indoors. As advised by the CDC and local guidelines, we advise the following:

• Wear a mask indoors in public
• Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines
• Get tested if you have symptoms

The HEI Planning Committee has masks available. When you check-in for your conference packet, should you like a mask and did not bring your own, please request one. We have taken precautions to allow for comfortable social-distancing while convening in the conference halls, and hand-sanitizing stations are available throughout the conference center.
