CHES & MCHES Study Group Support
Ohio SOPHE is supporting members pursuing health education credentials with a pilot program for the October 2024 exam window.
In preparation for the October 2024 CHES/MCHES exams, Ohio SOPHE is pleased to announce they will be providing some special initiatives to support members who are planning to take the exam:
Exam Review and Study Group
Exam Fee Reimbursement
Both of these initiatives are made possible through a grant received from the Ohio Department of Health, utilizing workforce development funds from the CDC. More information about each of these is outlined below.
If you need more information about the CHES or MCHES certification and exams, please see the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing website.
Exam Review and Virtual Study Group – Maximum Enrollment – 20 Participants
Weekly 2-hour exam review and study sessions will be held virtually starting in early September 2024. This study group is free for Ohio SOPHE members. Advance registration is required for planning purposes. Participants will need to study on their own outside of these sessions to fully prepare for the exam. The sessions are designed to help people prepare and make the most of their study time. Participants are expected to complete assignments between sessions in order to add to the group discussion and review process. Best date/time to be determined through registration.
